An earlier draft under the title of The Auslanders was given scene by scene readings by actors of The Playwrights Gallery at zoom sessions originating in New York City and also by the actors of New Voices Playwrights Theatre in Orange County, California which sponsored a formal staged reading at the Stage Door Repertory Theatre of Anaheim, California on September 18, 2021.
