The Last Lot

At an auction in rural Georgia is a trunk filled with items from the closure of Alchemy Antiques. The bidding escalates to thousands of dollars and leads to a reclusive collector living in New York who claims to have cheated death.

SYNOPSIS


History:

The first draft of Alchemy Antiques (previous titled The Last Lot) was given a concert reading at the Julia Miles Reading Series (sponsored by the League of Professional Theatre Women) directed by Jed Peterson; it was also given a concert reading at the 2015 Newborn Festival sponsored by Manhattan Theatre Works and City College of New York directed by David Stallings; most recently, it was given a staged reading in May 2015, at Urban Stages directed by Frances Hill featuring Misha Bouvion, Stephanie Cozart, Ryan Clardy, Meghann Garmany, Romy Nordlinger, Scott Schafer, and Elizabeth Wine.
